Christmas Appeal

“For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor,
so that you through his poverty might become rich.”

- 2 Corinthians 8:9

At Christmas we celebrate and remember the generosity of our God, the one who sent his Son into our world to be our saviour. Our God is a gracious and generous God who has given to us in abundance. All Christian giving is therefore an expression of the grace of God.

Each year at Redeemer we have a Christmas appeal which supports different projects at home and abroad through local and international charities. We’d love for you to help us support these important works.

Hope Nottingham is a Christian Charity, working with local churches and community groups to serve those in need in neighbourhoods all around Nottingham. Hope House in Beeston has become a one-stop community support centre, working in partnership with many local agencies, to provide a place of trust and transformation for local people.

Safe Families - Facing life alone is hard, and when you feel there is no one there to support you it is a scary place to be. Therefore, at Safe Families we offer support, hope and belonging to improve the lives of those in our communities. We link children, young people and families with local volunteers who can offer them help and support.

Open Doors
 - Open Doors originated in 1955, when a young Dutchman started smuggling Bibles to the persecuted church in Communist Europe. He became known as Brother Andrew, and his work led to more than six decades of support for the persecuted church. Open Doors is a non-denominational mission supporting persecuted Christians in the world. They work with local partners to distribute Bibles and Christian literature, give discipleship training and provide practical support, such as emergency relief aid.

100% of donations go to the charities. No money is deducted for our administrative costs.

Why give?

Our God is a gracious and generous God who has given to us in abundance. All Christian giving is therefore an expression of the grace of God.

We have seen tremendous blessings in our history as a church, and we are excited by the calling that the Lord has given us for our future - knowing that we face that future with our generous God.

If you would like to be part of this then join us by giving financially to Redeemer.
